Patient Feedback on Wearable Artificial Kidney Prototype Design
Ultimately, patients will be the end users of a wearable artificial kidney. To help us with a future design we are seeking your input.
Note: The examples are rough prototypes that will be vastly improved based on patient input and engineering elements. We are currently creating new designs and the updated models will be posted here soon.
US Kidney Research Corp is devising two variations of its wearable artificial kidney replacement technology. One variant (design) is worn as a backpack and the second variant is worn around the waist. Start by looking at the photos below and choosing the variant you prefer.
